What did you like/dislike?

I like the time when we bake the cookies.
I dislike washing the dishes and doing the planning, it was quite hard.

What were the learning points/benefits of this coursework?

I learn to do time planning in a better way. I also learn about time management.
While waiting the cookies to be bake, we can wash the dishes. This can save lots of time!
I learn that baking should be a fun thing to do, rather than finding it troublesome.

Strengths and weaknesses.

Planning - It was one of my weaknesses. Its hard to decide what to do at first. But after some time, i;m good at it already.

Researching skills - I found it challenging to find the appropriate recipe that requires what I want.
Also, I have to research about the one that cause the cookies to stick together. So it was also one of my weaknesses.

Analyzing data - At first, I was figuring how to tabulate the data. But after some time, I'm really good at it.
I manage to do the graph properly.

Modifying recipes - At first, i was always wondering what and how to modify recipes.So I point out all the unhealthy ingredients and try to change it to a better and healthier food.

Time management skills - It was really hard to go as plan like what I wrote for my time planning.
But, I overcome it. I did it faster than i thought.

How did the dish taste/appear etc.?

- I think it turn out very delicious, not very dry too.
- The taste is just right,not too sweet too.
- The appearance is much more better than the once i did before.
- The shape looks more like a circle now.
- I bought the packet of chocolate chips which could melt, and it turn out really tasty!

How did you feel about it?

I felt happy that my cookies turn out very nicely done. The cookies had improved a lot than the onces i did.
It is also more crispy and not so dry anymore.I will defintely bake again! :D

What were the modifications that you made to improvise on it?

I did not put salt like what the recipe told me to do.
I think that it was rather unnecessary, and not very healthy.
I change the chocolate chips to those which can melt easily, which is more tasty.
I put less white sugar too.

Difficulties faced while cooking?

Before modification, my cookies was all stick together. It was very hard to figure why.
I did research on it, and found out the problems!

Overall strengths and weakness?

Strengths - Blending it well, baking it at a right temperature.
Weakness - The time to take out the cookies from oven and the cookies appearance.

1) original recipes. - Chocolate chip cookies.

Before modification.

First, you mix the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until fluffy.

Secondly, add the vanilla extract and the egg.

Then, you add the flour, salt and baking soda. Blend it well as shown below.

Lastly, put all the mixture on the tray and in the oven! And you are done!

2) The chocolate chip coffee cake!

First, you mix butter and sugar.

Add the egg.Blend well.

Add sour cream and vanilla extract.

Prepare the flour, baking powder and soda.

Add the flour mixture and combine.Batter should be thick as shown below. :D

Final product is quite a success.

Practical exam.

First, prepare all ingredients.

Secondly, mix brown sugar and butter as shown below.

Cream the white sugar to the mixture until smooth.

The mixture of white sugar, brown sugar and butter.

Next, add egg and vanilla extract.

Blend in well as shown below.

Add flour, baking soda and salt to the mixture.

The batter should be thick as shown below.

Lastly, add the chocolate chips.

Put the mixture in the tray.

Final product.
